News: Breitling Unveils Its Chronomat GMT 40 In Five Colours
Breitling’s latest addition to its Chronomat range continues to celebrate the model’s representation of “purpose, action and style”. Whether you’re swimming at the beach or walking the red carpet, this is Breitling’s answer to an all-purpose watch.
This new Chronomat 40 GMT, then, is described as the watchmaker’s tribute to travel and is available in five different dial colours including black, white, anthracite, navy-blue and British racing green. The dial boasts a handy date window at 6 o’clock and a tone-on-tone 24-hour scale with a red GMT hand. Whereas the 40mm stainless-steel case features an onion-shaped crown and a uni-directional bezel, all of which sits upon the sleek stainless-steel Rouleaux bracelet.
Powering this piece is the Swiss automatic Breitling calibre 32 (base ETA 2893-2), which features 21 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. The Breitling calibre 32 is COSC-certified as a chronometer and includes hours, minutes, central seconds, date, and second timezone functions.
All in all, the new Chronomat 40 is a welcome addition to Breitling’s catalogue and is a watch that could just be your new faithful, regardless of which colour you go for.
